Events
There are so many events, and types of events that our club members take part in; triathlon, duathlon, swimrun, road runs, trail runs, fell runs, long runs, short runs... this list could go on and on, but you get the picture! Not just local events, but national and international!
Let's just say that there is something, and usually lots of different things, every week!
In addition to our weekly training activities, we have a club mini series, consisting of five events, on Monday evenings through the spring and early summer.
We also have a club championship, based on performance at selected local events.
And of course, our most popular club event, the supersprint triathlon relays!
In the off season there is a winter Parkrun challenge and the North west triathlon club Zwift racing league.
When entering events, you must be a current member to use Tri Lakeland as your club, and when filling in forms please enter club as Tri Lakeland, two words, both capitalised, no hyphen!

Tri England Zwift Racing!
Very popular and super fun! The Zwift Tri NW England racing league takes place in January and February.
Tri Lakeland joined in 2024 and we have been very successful, punching well above our weight.
Although this is competitive, there is a place in our team for absolutely any level of rider. Everyone who takes part scores points for the club
Club Relay Supersprint Triathlon
We missed this event in 2025 due to a busy calendar, but set to return for 2026
Great fun and popular Supersprint relay triathlon. This is something for everyone, as either a first ever attempt at a triathlon, or a flat out blast to hone fitness and transitions.
