Route information
Swim routes will be explained in the pre race briefing
Both the cycle and run routes are on quiet and picturesque roads.
Please look at the routes carefully. On the bike course the Sprint route is a single lap and the Standard route is two laps. On the run, the Sprint route goes left at the T-junction at the top of hill and the Standard route goes to the right (and continues uphill...) There will be signs and marshals on the course, however, it is the competitor's responsibility to ensure that they follow the correct route.
General information
The triathlons start from 1:00pm on Saturday, with registration from 10:00am. The event is based at Bassenthwaite Sailing Club and parking is available. The Sailing Club has changing rooms for competitors, and for spectators, it provides refreshments together with the perfect viewing areas for the swim, transitions and the finish line!
